SUN PEAKS RESORT - ICEWINE FESTIVAL - JANUARY

This winter, Sun Peaks Resort will again be hosting their Icewine
Festival -the only event of its kind in Canada - a unique event

CELEBRATING ROYALTY AT THE ROYAL BC MUSEUM
In celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, and
her upcoming visit in October, the Royal British Columbia Museum
in Victoria is presenting "Celebrating Royalty". From June 28th,
2002 through January 31st, 2003, this exhibit explores the fascinating
history of royal grandeur and power over the last two centuries.
Illustrated through artifacts, memorabilia, portraits and regalia,
it showcases the depth of royal connections to British Columbia,
beginning with the Victorian era and continuing into the present.
The historic reigns of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II are
highlighted, focusing on their lives of service that have contributed

Cowboy at heart Quebec City
April 10, 2002 to March 15, 2003. Music, rodeos, literature,
movies, cowboys and the plains of the American West are on display.
You may be surprised to discover that the country and western
spirit is well-established in Québec, as it is in such faraway
lands as Australia, Indonesia, Argentina, France and Japan. Through
the many artefacts in the exhibit, you will explore the lives
of Buffalo Bill, Calamity Jane, Gene Autry, John Wayne, Willie
Lamothe, Will James, Lucky Luke and many other heroes and stars
of the unique and fascinating wild west. The largest exhibit (in

Ancient Rome Exhibition
October 12, 2002 until April 21, 2003. The Provincial Museum of
